At risk of sounding like i dont know my ibiza models that well i just wondered if anyone had swapped their standard mk4 bumpers (like what ive got on my 130 sport diesel!) for the better looking (in my opinion) bumpers that come on the cupra or FR for example? i can get the bumpers for a couple hundred quid and i think they suit the car better, but i'd like to know how much work would be involved in changing them! ta :)

Remove around 20 torque screws, pull bumper off, lift new bumper into place, replace torque screws.

Very simple job in my eyes. Its not quite as simple as i stated but not far off to be fair.

when i got mine goin back a few months it was £235.24 comes in 3 bits even theo the bit in the middle is part of the bumper:shrug:

Fr/Cupra bumper was £162.04 10% off so was £145.84

Rear insert was £51.53 10% off so was £46.38

2 rear reflectors was £8.86 10% off so was £7.98

But i bet there are a lot cheaper now

i went on ebay this afternoon and they had a front facelift bumper on there but its not a cupra or a fr bumper just a facelift one.the same place i got mine from was in good nick as well was £110 i think hope this helps

is it the motor in motion one? for £111 delivered? i think i'm gonna go for it and wait for a rear bumper to come along. would it look odd if i had a cupra front and just my standard rear?

have you still got 16's on yours? also wondering if the new front bumper might make my wheels look a bit odd as the FR's come with 17's  maybe i wonder too much!
