I really like the Polestar 2 and it has a good theoretical driving range too (335 miles?) and build quality looks to be bordering on premium. However, during the colder, winter months I dare say the range could be quite a bit less but still OK, provided you’re not regularly driving long distances and need to rely on public charging facilities mid-journey to recharge the batteries. In my part of the country, public charging facilities are pretty sparse ?.
Yeah they look like they're going for that premium interior, and all Vegan (which will appeal to some). Driving range is decent on paper, and the dual motor one is pushing 470bhp with an OTA update I think. I would have to go for single motor sadly, which price wise is similar to the 300 Leon.

Ordered 14/ 8, Just had a call with the dealership, still no build date.
Told they are trying to allocate slots over the next few weeks so may have some more information in February.

Does anyone know of a short term (affordable) car solution until the new one comes? I sold my old car at a good price but now out of a car since the cupra leons are delayed beyond expectation :(

New price caps for electricity prices now mean it’s cheaper to run the Leon e-Hybrid on petrol than electric
That's a really good point.. the main reason I went for the hybrid was the saving in petrol costs. By the time I get the car, the new price caps will probably be in place and with the "cheaper at night" tariffs no longer accepting customers, I'm beginning to wonder if I should cancel my order

For the lucky ones who have already had their car. Is anybody else waiting on car mats being delivered? I was told they would deliver them to me when they come in stock.

If anyone is looking to PCP/HP a 300 VZ3, Seat/Cupra Marshalls Leicester has a 300 VZ3 in Desire Red with Pan roof and XL Safety pack with 5 miles on it, £37k....

For what it's worth, whenever the car is in boost mode combining both the motor & engine, the percentage on the battery almost ticks down by the second.

If your sole aim is to save money, you're no better off than getting the VZ2 245 2.0 TSI and not have to worry about finding places to charge your car.

Cold weather decimates the battery and of course the savings I calculated at 12p per kWh are completely wiped out, as at the moment it's 21p per kWh for me and rising upwards around the region of 38-40p per kWh, the small battery and quick discharge pits it low in electrical efficiency in comparison to pure electric vehicles so it'll soon be costing me £4.50 for 25 miles, or 18p per mile. At the moment, it's around 14p per mile running in petrol.

This is weird as last time I was on here I bought a new 2007 Leon Cupra in white and today I have just ordered a Cupra leon hatch vz3 1.4 e-hybrid in white, due October !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have finally given up. I will be cancelling my order today.
Ordered in August, due in November, push back to December and then to March. I’ve now been told it won’t be here in March and there is no build date.
The rumour is that it may not be here until September, which is the current delivery date if you order today.

Disappointed, but needs must

I'm starting to get a bit impatient and frustrated now myself. No updates whatsoever ordered back in August from Leasing Options. I took a big deposit to get the monthly's down. I also paid £1000 of my deposit when I ordered as they said if I pay a chunk now it will get the monthly payment even lower. Looking at the small print there's also a cancelation fee of £950 - £1950 down the drain now? Anyone got any ideas where I stand or anyone in the same boat as me?

Ordered on August 11 and still have no information about the production date.
I saw messages from users of this forum that they started receiving information about build week(they ordered in the same time).

Does anyone know if I can directly communicate with Cupra in order to find out about my car progress?
I don't know if it is possible that the car dealer intentionally delays the time. I ordered Leon ST 310 with a good discount of around 7%

I ordered my new complany car ( Cupra Leon, 245 Hybrid, Graphine Grey) in March 2021, delivery due September 21. I am still waiting..... I have been driving various demo cars from the dealership as my old company car had to be returned in Sept. I am told it should be at the dealer next week. Fingers crossed not long to wait now.
