If you're after a new saloon car, but you want it to be fast, you'd probably have to stay away from the premium brands. One car that came to mind was the Mazda 6 MPS, but the new version hasn't been launched yet, so I'm not sure of a 20k saloon that is anywhere near as fast as the Cupra.
For me, hatchbacks and estates are more usable (with mounting bikes etc. - if not quite as fancy), so I'd put the 20k towards a second hand audi s3 sportback or s4 avant.

Well, I brought a Cupra. Xenon's, Bluetooth, Rain sensors, auto lights, etc, etc. I reckon it's a wise choice.
Well, hopefully I'll get the car on Friday. I can't wait. It's like I'm a kid that's just been told they're going to Disneyland, lol.

The Lexus is a very nice place to be and the aircon through the seats its such a bonus when its hot! There not slow as such but if you really want to giveit stick then you'll feel a bit under whelmed.

My other halfs parents have a IS250, lovely car. I persuaded them to get Sat Nav pack, and it is a very nice motor, however I wouldnt change my Cupra for one....until im too old to shift gears.
