By the way and if you search UK ebay for "Upper strut VW" then a couple turn up for around 27 quid for the golf 4 Gti/ VR6 year 99 till 02....

I went on and got my seat sport one chromed as it seemed the only deffinate answer at the time. Its cost me £110 to be stripped and chromed. Thats why i hope it doesnt fit because it would have been alot cheaper for me to get this one if it does.

$79.99 for just the shipping!!! and that for an item which only costs $38.99 that;s rediculous.
I only paid $75 for shipping of my entire downpipe with decat...so I think this is a tad too high.
I will keep searching as I already saw one company who sent it for $25 so that;s good...but it was the 4 bolt strut bar...
But thinking this is a no go...what you guys think?

Just found a front upper strut for Mk4 all models 98-02 for 43 pounds delivered to netherlands....think i'll take the plunge...
This one is for a VW GOLF MK4 GTi TDi 20v TURBO FRONT UPPER STRUT BRACE
So should fit, however I prefer the round mounts...looks a little bit meaner...
Someone is selling a seat sport one thats been stripped in the for sale section. Just get it chromed.
Only thing with the seat sport ones is that they arent alloy so eventually its going to corrode even if it is chromed.
