Hi all, all of a sudden my left hand electric strut has started to make this awful noise.
I don’t think the video does it justice, it’s loud enough my kids cover their ears when I need to open or shut it. It didn’t start quiet and get worse, just one morning about a week ago it started as loud as it is

These are new struts I replaced maybe 2/3 months ago as the originals packed in. Any advice on how to fix it without replacing them? I got in touch with the company asking them for advice and they gave me a full refund which is nice and all but I don’t want the squeak
