Trying to think if I've ever had it happen. Usually when I'm going for it I'm quick into the next gear and foot back down. Lol. Doesnt sound anything to worry about.

Mine stays at the revs when I pressed the clutch, only does it like once a week possibly for but unlike @Silverfoxxxx mines at low speed nearer start up.

Yeah after changing to 2nd for the first time maybe 30 seconds after engine start after reversing etc...

Engine has dropped to 700rpm ish after cold start then I get this and it holds the engine at maybe 900rpm for a few seconds then goes to normal for the rest of the journey...

I've had that loads of times. Just the ecu adjusting so the car doesn't stall.

Definitely like blipping the accelerator, did it this morning, and I don’t have to be flooring it just moving on a bit more than most would.

I don't have this. I gave it a try this morning both cold and hot. As soon as I dip the clutch, the revs drop 300-400 almost instantly. Might be worth asking the dealer you got it from to give it a scan see if any errors/warnings are stored. Maybe something silly like the clutch pressure switch a bit worn.

It’s booked in next week for a complete going over by my local Vag specialist, hopefully they’ll fix this issue and not find anything else that needs doing.

Map being completed, hopefully next week, when the car goes in for the cam follower, can’t wait to drive it after that.

Also how do you enter a postcode on the rns 315?, I don’t seem to have an option to enter one and can’t find any reference to how to enter postcodes. I’ve updated to V9 maps as I thought it may have been because it was on W1 version but still can’t see it.

What am I missing?

That looks like an RNS310...

If you hold down the setup button for 10 seconds and then go to versions, take a pic of whatever is in there

The map is being done by my local Audi approved garage, they have a history for racing Audi’s and the guy does there cars so I trust them, used them for years on various Vag cars.

Thats a RNS315... interesting... @Legojon do you know what version you're on? I'm not sure how to update the 315 as I have a 310...

What happens if you push the address touch button?

Just comes up with the screen for the whole address, country, town, road which you have to type in and select each one.

For mine I click on Town I think then I can type in the postcode at that point

Nope no option, weird, I’ve looked and can’t see anyway to update the software version, although it’s in a 2011 car so assumed it would have a postcode option as that is what I read.
