Cupra R 210 or 225

Hello People,

I'm looking to get a used Cupra R within the next month and was wondering,

whats the difference between the 210 and the 225 ?

I know its gonna be a bit quicker (is it noticable? ), but what else ? i.e. trim/specs ?

Is it worth the extra money for a 225 ?

you'll have to check as not so long ago a few of us went up to AWESOME gti and had our standard cars rollin roaded .i hav a 20vt and a freind has an r,mine was runnin 176 hp but his 225 came in at 213hp ??????????? so do you get a 225 or 210 as a standard r came back loosin 12 hp??also there are certain codes in the boot that not even dealers can read and tell you what hp your gettin.So i say sod it get which ever cums up as in my eyes and my eyes only is it worth tryin to get the 225 when as you can see may not be what it says it is. Empi 5 was there as proof not blaggin now

the 225 stands for ps though not bhp there 222bhp so he lost 9bhp not alot really

210 has stronger internals.

Your assuming that a 210 on awesomes rollers would get 210bhp !!! ,Incidentally my 225LCR got 224 on awesomes rollers, that was before it was remapped

On the road though I doubt you'd tell the difference between a 210 and a 225 and both remap to about the same

If I was looking now, I would get the 225 if poss but theres nothing wrong with a 210 if one comes along!!

I did do a search, however i wanted confirmation before i splashed the cash based on old info.
