cupra r engines?

hi guys im new to the forum an thinkin of buyin a cupra r but ive heard there is 2 different type engines in them a 210 bhp version and 225bhp veriosn how can i tel the difference many thanks kyle

I'm going from memory but the definitive way to tell is checking underneath the engine cover. You will see the dot matrix stamp on the engine with the relevant engine code. BAM is the 225 and AMK is the 210.

also bam or amk are written in the first page of the log book,saves taken engine cover off.
hpi will also show this, mine did before i bort mine................
