the remap debate will go on forever, from what i can gather revo is quite an aggressive map and the boost tails off quite quickly. i'm not too sure what all the other generic maps are like but i've got a stage 1 SKN map on my LCR from TTS roadsport, there is a lot more power there but it is a really smooth map with good amounts of boost all the way up to 6,000 rpm. if you can i'd ask for a ride in different cars with different maps to make an informed decision. but then again, i haven't read of anybody being unhappy after a remap!

Hi just wondered if you could direct me to the item number for these parts on the forge website. (Forge Short Shifter,Dog Bone engine mounts) and also what difference the engine mounts will make.

Thanks

Rather than suggest one map over another, why not choose someone who can map your car local to where you live. That way should you have any problems you won't have to travel far to get it sorted. Assuming they've haven't got a bad reputation of course.

I would agree with that, infact I would go even further and draw up a list of Pro's and Con's for a couple of tuners including;-

Location
Warranty and Guarantees offered
Cost
Future upgradability
Whatever else is important to you etc

and avoid buying on gossip or headline figures
