Just looking at this site looking at all the accessories for the leon

http://www.seat.com/com/generator/su/com/leon/site/accessories/sport/main.html

very useful part numbers on there

came across the recaro seats reading on one forum that part number comes up as £600 each?, does anyone know if that is correct

i once phoned vauxhall for a price on a leather seat at it came back at £1k so £600 seems cheap

Anyone willing to phone seat parts for a price on the recaro seats? £1200 for the pair would be good in my eyes save up a bit haha

Not sure about the 600 pound notion as i have just been quoted about 140 for just a base seat cover for the recaros

I know a guy who is seloing these seats but there cloth, all you would need to do would be to get then retrimmed, et viola, new seats

IMHO the Recarros are worth every penny, and on the 210 they were a £1200 option, but as Willie says, that would be the price of the standard seats PLUS £1200 (front and rear). I specifically found a Recarro model; wouln't have it any other way :D

Just by a second hand set of Mk4 golf GTI recaros and get them trimmed.
Normally on ebay at around £100 - £200 for the front and rears, fit straight in as far as I am aware.
Set of leather Recaros anywhere from £500 - £800 dependant on condition

With anything like this, you have to expect them needing a FULL valet as well as bits and pieces needing replacing ... it's worth buying from a Breakers, the good ones will send you pictures and will also include any looms etc.

Ebay is a rip off for stuff like this.

Carriage for a full interior is about 50 quid - but you have to watch for damage to the roller wheels that locate in the tracks in the car, you can get spares from seremotors, he might have a record of the part number of the ones we worked out.

Get yourself some Gliptone and spend a week working lots of coats of it in :)

There was a thread about Recaro's a few days back - From that thread it seemed the 210 model Recaro's (with the matching "bucket" rear bench) was the £1200 option.

The later 225 Recaro's never came with the fancy rear bench and the option was only £600 (As far as the other thread mentioned)

I don't happen to think they're worth a £1200 premium over the standard LCR seats. Perhaps if they were leather? My neighbour has leather Recaro's in his Mk5 GTi and they're pretty nifty looking!

The early FULL Recaros were also a 4 seat option, not a 5 seat one. The S3 ones offer better lateral support but the leather doesn't grip as well. Alcantara out of the S3 are the ones to go for if you can get them in good nick and you dont have kids with sticky icky fingers.

The Alcantara S3 are my 1st choice, then Mk4 R32 seats and If I ever find a set RS4/MK5 R32 Recaro seats.
