Cupra R - Rockingham track cars?!!!

The number plates on the car im referring to doesn't fit the number plate registration's as you've stated Mark, but yet it does have some other signs of being one those, surely the signs of decal markings on the bonnet gives it away a little?

But then again...i've seen some people try to immitate other cars by applying stickers, but surely know one would want to do this to a Cupra R?

Ive seen plenty of ibiza cupras molested with tribal graphics and all that.

Sorry, I went off on a tangent there....

basically if the original plate on his car is GK51 *** then it's highly likely to be a rockingham car

but as you say - it could just have been stickered up while it was at the dealers (if they were bought as demo's they tended to sit for a while)

A fully erected race track roll cage satisfying all the regulations etc etc is welded through the floor right...and bolted underneath?

So there would def be signs of holes?

they cut most of the mounts off

the easiest way to look for the mount is on the rear suspension turret

remove a bit of the carpet & have a look for signs of the mount being cut back

this is a weld in cage, but it shows you roughly where to look

that is just a cupra with chequered flags on it , looks **** to me ,

looks like the same design though, only with the cupra being grey instead of red - a poor attempt to copy
