Cupra R smelling after abit of hard driving HELP please

my cupra r after a bit of hard driving has a wierd sort of smell about it had the car around 10months now never smelt if before cant describe th smell its not like buring oil, clutch, tyres or brakes its more off a burnin smell i have a ram air induction kit, magnex cat back system exhaust and revo modsim thinkin it could be the cat smelling, its has been to the dealers but they can not smell it but it needs to be drivin hard to get it to smell
any suggestions please and is it anything to worry bout??

sometime you can get a strange smell out of the vents if the aircon hasn't been used for a while.

Be worth having a hunt about under the bonnet to make sure nothing is getting burned around the turbo area (check all the protective heat sheathing is still on / doing its job). Maybe the ranting could be burning the clutch a bit? How many miles have you done on its current oil?

oil has been changed last service so around october for service prob done bout 3-4k since then, its not smellin inside th car only outside around the car front back and sides but u cant smell it inside until door or window is open ill check in the engine i did have a quick look but will look more into it

DP Leaking? Could it be exhaust gasses, or hot exhaust gasses leaking and blowing onto heat sheild/something else?

Might be worth getting back to Magnex for a check-up?

mine all ways smells after a heated run but its not over powering if yours is get it checked

My milltek exhaust system smelled (or smelt???) funny for a few hundred mile after it was fitted. Especially after it got really hot. Soon disappeared though.

Any rattles? Just wondering if a heat shield or something has dropped down and is sitting on the exhaust?

no rattleing as far as i can tell with the crappy dashes rattle'in lol

dosnt smell rubbery or clutch,

DP is standard so cant see it being that

ill check that its all connected properly tommorrow though

could be exhaust just bedding in had now for 2months though

its not a horrible smell or overpowering just like a burnin gasey smell ive never kept a cat on a car or most my cars havent had them so could just be that and im not really used to it

This might sound daft, but it's not the new paint on your wheels smelling a bit from the heat of the brakes?

oh no its not them i had them painted before xmas but not had any photos to show till th sun was beeming down thanks anyway MarkE
