Cupra R Timing Belt

Tried this in the servicing section and got no response, so thought i'd try in here, if it gets moved, then fair enough.

Anyway, i've just moved to Bristol from Scotland and im looking for a garage to do my Timing belt and water pump on the Cupra R?

So im looking for any recommendations as i don't know any garages or specialist round here and i want somewhere thats got a good rep & won't charge me the earth. If i have to travel abit, then its not really a problem.

Try Star Performance In Kirkaldy they have a very good rep here. Might be pricey tho. I've heard (on hear) Motorwerks in Aberdeen are good also. If your in Fife tho, Kirkaldy may be the best be failing that any Dealer athough for that you'd better ger your cheque book out. lol There is a place in Dunde also thats a VW garage called target Motors but i haven't used them for any mehcanical work.

see i was thinking star performace, but since the car will be down in Bristol with me now, then i need somwhere down here. Cheers for the reply tho, will keep some of those places in mind if im ever back up the road.

there's a VW specialist in Bedminster. I've never used them and to be honest, never heard anything about them, but they're called Vee W Services. Still, I can't recommend them as I've never used them.
My cambelt and waterpump were done by the main dealers down near Southampton. I made them do it before I bought the car and they gave me the receipt for proof. £575!

for anyone looking for a garage in bristol, i can vouch for Vee w services in bedminster, top blokes, know all the seats/vw's etc inside out and only £36/hr labour
