im going to upgrade my maf housing to the 80mm cupra r version and ill be getting the tip to go with it. but what i need to know is what size diameter is the pipe connecting to the turbo? the big turbo im connecting to is 100mm so ill be needing to order a reducer from 100mm to ??mm
any help with this will be appreciated as im hoping to order it all tonight.

Confused - what model car have you got? If you're going big turbo then typically you won't be able to use an off-the-shelf TIP as aftermarket turbos don't often use the same fitment and housings as stock ones.

i was going to use a cupra r maf and tip on a cupra and then i was going to use a silicone reducer to then fit the new turbo. my turbo intake is 100mm and the intake pipe is around 80mm so i need to get a increaser from 80mm upto 100mm. i can find reducers but befor i order 1 i need to know the size of the pipe that connects to the turbo on a standard cupra r tip.

If your turbo intake is 100mm then putting anything less than that before it is just going to restrict its airflow and consequently its potential. You can get 100mm alloy MAF sensor tubes from Badger5 on here.

It's highly unlikely any off-the-shelf TIP will fit the turbo anyway, not because they're 80mm and the turbo is 100mm but because the turbo won't be in the same place that the K04 turbo they're designed for is.

Unless someone makes a TIP specifically for your turbo you're looking at having a custom one made.
