What would you do?

There are currently about 6 nearly new Cupra ST's on Autotrader for about £26K. All are white and have similar spec, mileage etc (ex demo?).

Do I go for one of those or order new and face a possible 6 month wait?

Any thoughts?

Depends if you are happy to take ex demo and they are the spec you want.

If you want a specific colour and spec then you'll need to buy new unless you get lucky.

I bought ex demo in my Leon and I'm happy with it. It was ex Seat UK so has loads of extras.

I went new. Better spec, 0% finance, seat pay £1000 deposit and you know it hasn't been trashed by sales reps and prospective buyers.

All are either white or dynamic grey on autotrader and don't really have much in the way of decent options apart from the multi wheels

It was also cheaper with the discounts you get through drive the deal or other brokers.

I went nearly new. Got an ex seat UK car with loads of extras with 5800 on the clock at 10 months old. Only thing it didn't have was ACC but that was a nice to have not an essential.

I wouldn't do either, just lease one the way the hatches have depreciated in 12 months! Not so many deals on ST at the mo though so seriously thinking golf r estate for the same money. Might have to bite!

Yes you are correct regarding list price but the leons residuals are poor compared to the golf so they are cheaper to lease.
