My mate has a teg type r and with an aem intake and a spoon manifold was rr'd at 210bhp. Theres nothing in it with us except he has it top end an has to rev the s**t out of it.
Reving the s**t out of it is what a vtec is about!
The s2000 does get traction problems but then again so do beezas so this might affect 0-60 on the roads vs 0-60 on 1/4mile.

vtec is about high RPM performance with low RPM stability
there is a difference
the funny thing is some people think of Vtec like a religion, comparing it to when turbo charged engines come on boost, when infact the probably dont even know what it stands for...variable valve timing and electronic lift control
It is the loudest car ive been in and the way the exhaust note changes when vtec kicks in is something else! Especially in a tunnel

i've raced a civic jordan before. it kept up with me up until 3rd gear then i shot off! it was just me and my bro. AND i had a good 30kg's worth of records in the back.

I thought the Jordans were 1.4's... the ones that look std going down pod weren't very quick at all.
If you're in a Cupra I would have thought that you'd do quite well as a Cupra V CTR there isn't much in it (both stock)

1.6 VTi and supposed to be very very quick
Maybe they were lower spec's with Jordan kit... cause they were getting rubbish times..
was this at the jap show last year..if so they were def jordans...i had a CTR and the jordan is a tad slower.
