having just be converted from VTEC to Cupra ill let ya know some shizzle

All the EK shape civic's (1996-2000) the Highest spec was the EK9 but all shared the Same 1.6 Twin Cam engine.

EK4 (Vti) runs 158bhp
Jordan runs 166bhp
and the EK9 is 180bhp

The Jordan comes with A/C and Leather as standard which makes it heavier than an EK4 and the EK9 comes in various specs.

my EK4 was running 174.9bhp and easily would chase EP3 Civic Type R (2000-2006) all day long and beat a local's EK9 4 times, mods were AEM V2 CAI and a Tanabe SMR MAnifold back exhaust, clocked a 1/4 of 14.912

a Mapped Ibiza Cupra will easily rape a VTi/Jordan/EK9 from 50+

Std ibiza will get its arse kicked by all the above.
A mapped ibiza will beat the Jordan ,ctr and hold its own against the s2000 presuming its dry and straightline race.

Don't forget its down to the mapping as some mapps run out of puff at 145 mph whereas others will see 160 mph .

Ive seen 150 mph but i had to slow down as a car decided to play chicken with me but im alomost certian i could of seen the magic 160 :funk:

the jordans run a slightly different ECU

The EG was never 160bhp all Honda owners round up the standard figures as 160 sounds better than 158bhp lol

Not very impressive at all really. But yeh the integra is pretty damn quick. I now have to contend with the following
new civic type r
integra type r
s2000
some how i feel a bigger turbo is needed to contend with the last one lol but a remap and my fmic should see off the civic n integra

My friends got an S2000 with a HKS system & decat, Spoon Ecu, J's racing CAI Intake and some other goods- Makes 239BHP and i can manage a car length in front.

I should have mentiond this the first time.... Apparently Hondas power figures are all quoted without any transmission belts, which as a result will give a higher HP reading....anyone else heard anything about this ??? My friends car is also an import and supposidly Jap imports are supposed to have more hp as standard, but the japanese also use different ron rated fuel. I'll try and find some more info and get back to you.

There aint much in the vti's until u hit vtec.
My mate had a 1.4, Put a Jap 1.5 D15B and a 4 branch and decat.

The vti was running a decat, The D15B ran half a car lengh in front of it up the quarter mile
Needless to say my mate with the vti was gutted

just to give you an idea how well a CTR does against a deecent spec cupra. mine is K03s with 256bhp. on the M25 the other night i came accross a CTR who wanted a play, he was on his own and my car was completely full. 5 man up! i killed him him every time in every gear. he couldnt get close. we kept slowing down and going again and again from 50mph. i was putting about 3 lengths in every gear. and my car was fully loaded. imagine what i would have done if i was 1 up like him

the EP3 isnt all that

a well tweaked VTi will easily pull one in :D

Stock Civic gets beaten by a highly modded Ibiza Cupra Shock........

What did u really expect the civic is 197bhp at the fly
