Cupra Window Problem!

drivers side window doesnt go down when i pressed the buttom, but out of the 100 times i press down on the switch it goes down atleast once, it goes it alright when its down

faulty switch you reckon?

most likely mine did the same took it apart cleaned contacts worked for a bit then did same again so got new on from stealers £15 oh bugger

Yep defo knackered switch, easy fix!

used the switch off the passenger side swaped for the drivers and still donest work, passenger side works perfect, any other suggestions?

Well it's either the regulator or the wiring then

defos not the switch, going to have a look into the wiring and regulator

can anyone point me in the right direction for a thread on how to replace a cupra window regulator,
iv searched but cant find anything and the car didnt come with one in the door to use as a ref, hence no screws/bolts.

so i need to use the thread to find out what size screws/bolts are needed before i go taking the doorcard off

once the door it stripped off you wind the woindow down a bit and undo the 2 10mm bolts (one on front one on back) and then you can pull the glass out of the window (runs along the rubber seals so you wont damage anything), then its a case of 5 more 10mm bolts and unplug the motor from the loom and it comes out
