Thanks for sorting out the part numbers james i dont get that much time to be on every night now. they are the right 1's for the VAG engine's . all 1.8T's have the same spark plugs.

Rolling road day was good very busy and lots of cars run. 3 did have some major issues .

efr 6758 here i come
its got error which all garages are giving me diffent answers for and had problems with sach clutch but not been able to get in touch, had my turbo go after 800 miles and my exhause mani cracked so not good lol, the error i have is 16396 been told its over advancing but the fault comes and goes some said its wiring, others said its vvt unit, others said vvt solernoid, and others saying to much oil pressure and need to see why its not letting the oil pressure go once it gets to its set point,
cars putting out 205 lbs ft torque and 200 bhp on standard map :( not good need a vag specialist thats not guessing like ones i been too :(

i want a new clutch think will go for what you got :) how you like the polly bushes?

Love it. Great to see your not going for more power, yet ;)
Any idea how much weight was removed during the lightening of the crank and flywheel?
Do you feel a difference after this work has been done?

Paul : the Clutch http://www.ecstuning.com/Audi-TT_MKI-Quattro-225HP/Drivetrain/Clutch/ES2533/ so far is great needs a lot of miles to bed it in 500. feels OEM and bites really well i like it. not much rattle from it being lightened and the whole bottom end being balanced

Ash : yea i will be up there with my tools, big shame the exhaust manifold didnt get here, im very unsure if it will get fitted. its a huge job now to fit. while the engine was out head off it was simple.

Andy : its great to have the car back on the road 4 months is a long time

Willie : my car is running standard map so no boost feels different and revs up so freely now so i can tell a difference to the engine, i dont know how much was taken away with grinding and drilling but it all looked nice while i was fitting it.

only job left on my car was exhaust manifold, this being a huge restriction to the 1.8T engine and with the rebuild i wanted to fit while engine was out. fitting now means removing the turbo or even pulling the engine back out so can get up the back easier.

Sounds great John, we might have to talk about this for my car in the future depending on how you feel once your back up to full power. Did you ever do a 1/4 day with the old set up and full power?

What exhaust manifold are you expecting?
JBS?
