Not sure what 9x17s will go over the AP calipers, Im struggling to find normal alloys that will fit over, Ive found two.

One other little mod is to ditch the P-Zeros... not suited to the mk4 at all IMO. (im sure you will go through them quick enough)

Enjoy!

Tyres are pretty new but i have a track day on friday at Brunds Hootch, so should shred em quickly enough!

What tyres are reccommended?

I had Potenza RE040s on my DC5, and Toyo T1Ss on the one before it
Both pretty good, preferred the toyos though

As for wheels, its prob a way off yet
What wheels have u found that fit?

Compo Mo's fit, with a larger ET, and Prorace ones. Thats all ive found.

As for tyres I run F1s which work a treat for me, but everyone likes different things. Not sure what the petrol boys like ;).

If your doing trackdays however (unless you have a set of trackday wheels with different tyres) dont get F1's. You'll have about 5 flying bliteringly quick laps, then you'll have a set of knackered tyres. They are well too soft for track work, Much to my frustration, and my local tyre fitters joy.

ive only got the one planned, as it was a gift.

i want some Euro style wheels, MOs are more motorsport influenced

As are the Prorace ones.

Just those big old calipers on the front you have to deal with. Im sure there are Euro style ones that will fit (maybe some porsche ones) but it may take more time and effort to find some than I could put into it.

Ok well today saw the Front grille De-Chromed (ie the surround) along with the badge

So to begin i removed the grille from the car, then seperated the surrounds and badge from it

I was led to believe that once the chrome trim round the edge was removed, that it would leave a black surround. Not the case.

So i keyed both items up, gave em a few coats of primer and about 5-6 coats of satin black, et voila

Here ya go.

Seperated
