i was looking at the top boost pipes and theyre about £140 so i thought about buying elbows and straight silicone pipe and some stainless boost pipe and making it myself! havnt done much research but i think itll work out cheaper maybe:shrug: thoughts?

also i was thinking of a fmic but not a forge one as im 19 and im on a budget so which one and why? how hard are they to fit:confused:

Give it a go! Call it R&D for the other members on here ;-)

I've done it before on a Fabia vRS doing a custom FMIC build and it worked out about £400 cheaper than an alternative Forge equivalent. My workmanship wasn't quite as flawless as the Forge stuff but it did the job, and still looked good :D

If you've got an LCR like I'm assuming from your name you can do a custom jobby 'wellycooler' style! Very efficient and it's a **** load cheaper than forge etc!
If you wanted full hard pipes you could mark everything up and get it all welded but that would be easier if the welder was with your car so you could make sure it fit properly.
I'll be refitting my wellycooler in the next few days
Can't wait to get my LCR back on the road!
