So guys my Coil Pack on Cylinder 4 went on holidays on my way to Stansted to drop my brother off, and so I drove slowly the rest of the way and back home on 3 Cylinders, thats 85 miles all together mostly motorway doing 45MPH on a LCR LOL.

Question is, is there any damage gonna be done to the car? Yes I didn't remember to unplug the Injector lead on Cylinder4, and I have a DECAT.

Thanks

Hi Bill, hope you are ok.

Well I assume its the coil pack from seeing in here, I just received a coil pack I bough Friday to replace the culprit I am going to replace it today after work, assuming all is well have I done any damage to the engine?

I got the 16688 and the 16684 on my Liquid Gauge.

Thanks

I should mention part of the way when I was driving it, if it was a straight stretch of the motorway or going down the EML light would stop flashing as I took the feet of the gas pedal, or I was going so slowly the car would not vibrate and you would not notice it was running on 3 Cylinders.

I'd be concerned that you've travelled that far on 3 cylinders. I've seen holes in pistons from cars that have travelled less than 20mi on 3 cylinders.

You wouldn't feel anything on overrun as no fuel is being injected at that time.

OK, just changed Coil pack Nr 4, Car is Pulling like a Train :D, no fault codes after a spirited drive.
Now so far so good, but could I have done any damage that cannot be seen or detected by the ECU?

Thanks
