Yep, it'll fit - you should use the ABF inlet cam and the KR exhaust cam as this is a nice fast road combo.

I would be asking if the lifters, springs and valve stem seals are new OE, though, as he doesn't make this clear

He also says in the fine print that the head hasn't been skimmed, so make sure the gasket face is flat before fitting it... in any good head porter should do this anway - along with rebuilding the entire head, not just porting it.

It is a good deal, though and the work looks ok for the price.

thanks for the replys,im going to drop him an email to get a bit more info.the bidding isnt finished so the price will probably shoot up over the next day.
ill keep you posted!

make sure the cam caps are with it too

without em its as good as useless

never heard of these guys - a good check would be to ask them for some flow bench figures, before and after they worked on the head

I feel a little suspicious, some of the language is odd (turbo pull from low down for eg...wtf)

beeza fella, you can easily get hold of a standard kr head , send it off to get ported, you might even be lucky enough to source a pair of hotter cams on cgti forum classifieds, youll pay the same money as that ebay one anyway but at least you know exactly whats going into it.
the kr head to abf block is a great mod for the 16v it brings power in 1000 rpm earlier though this was with std cams in the kr. if the head was ported as well itd keep the power right through to redline where with mine, you were better changing around 5800-6000 rather than redlining it.

cheers brendy mate, think thats what im gunna do.i wasnt sure if the kr head would fit but thats a question answered!was also looking at the idea of getting stealth racing to do the work but 2k is alot af money! im sure i could do this myself.that one on ebay also had used standard parts put back in,who knows what stresses they had before?.Do you have any recommendations to what valves and other gubbins to put back in the head? or should i just stick with new o.e?

for an idea it might be worth calling bigboys toys or similar, they do 2.0 16v exchange engines, with all new parts, problem being, they are in essex, youre not! haha
