right people got new standard n75 valve fitted it got rid of the overboost and that fault code but im back with the good old 17705 again.

had it up on ramps today to see if i could see split pipe etc couldnt find anything but could feel a sorta cold breeze coming from front of engine where throttle body(think its that) goes onto engine.

see a test on here long while ago where ya can pressure test the system but cant find it anyone gotta link to it.

on plus side put some 18 inch bks on my car

If you can't find any boost leaks, its might be worth giving your throttle body a clean and/or realigning it. (Another suggestion on the Ross Tech site)

Otherwise, if you have a look under the secondary (L shaped) engine cover at the front of the engine bay, there are loads of small pipes there. I had one of those come loose, which was causing me hesitation at low revs and a loss in boost. Make sure those pipes are intact too.

Mate, check EVERYTHING...

Even though the other guys found obvious splits, mine was a loose hose and all I saw was a bit of oil mist residue.... Good luck

just finished having all the pipes off couldnt find anything split etc. also sprayed some brake cleaner in throttle body while was at it give quick clean out. changed few oem hose clip to better ones as looked bit loose. reset ecu codes went for 5 mile ragging session come back and no codes have come up. when used to put foot down there was a hiss but that seem to of mostly gone so look like coulda just been the hose clips

Glad to hear it mate. It wouldn't supprise me at all to hear that it was a loose hose, those single use clamps are rubbish and they only save the production operators time! The hissing would have pointed to that too!

gonna get myself boost guage fited i think so can keep an eye on it. usless things i literally ripped them off with pliers i was like they aint going back on
