DAB enginie cover HELP!

hi please can any help got a seat ibiza DAB and i dont no how to get the plastic cover off that is covering the air fliter. hope someone can help

If it's the same as the Cupra then you lift the front up slightly and it will pop off, then slide it forward so the back comes off.

was urs hard to get off. coz we tryed pulling front and it felt like there was screws holdin it on..

They are held on quite well and may need a good pull if it hasn't been taken off before. On mine there are 2 rubber nipple things it kind of clips on to at the front.

coz wen we pulled it felt like the hold under neath was moving with it to.

what reason do you want the cover off?

i have a Formula Sport with the same engine. might look at chaning the filter soon.

easy! just hold the front with ur left hand and the back with your right and pull upwards and outwards! and to put back in place you just line it up and push really hard!

what kit have you gone for?

Believe that its the same engine, assuming your a 1.4 100BHP Petrol.

Let me know the difference once you fit it. what did you pay for it?

its got fitted sounds great, paid about 70 for it.
but gotta find out now bout if need a feed for cold air.
