Damn engine cover.

Before anyone asks I have done extensive search for the answer to my question. How do you get the bloody engine cover off a 1.4 DAB? All the threads I have read have said you just pull it off. LOL

Believe me I have tried and all i've done is dislocate my shoulder! How bloody hard are you supposed to pull? My arms are hurting now and the green cotton filter I have is still gathering dust in the garage.

First pull up slightly, then pull towards you

It slides forward on a rubber grommet at the back, and held on either side at the front. Just lift the front up, and then pull it forwards to release it from the back grommet. Really is that simple!

If you're lifting at the back only, it won't come off!

Yep, held on by rubber grommit, pull front edge up then slide forward! Dead easy!
