I think you need BBS LM's in 19's....end of convo...nextttttttt :p

I prefer CH's to the LM's, Suj. And the Pescys on the ED30 are near enough CH's :)

Oh and I've just received a job offer through the post today. Start a week Monday. More money, mon-fri day shift and only 7 Miles from home :D

I do like CH's, if you got gen's in staggered fitment would suit it to the tee (not black, like an anthracite/gun metal) to match the car

tbh I agree, I really like how Ed30's look as standard :D

PS winnnnnnnnnnnn :D
congrats dude

Also new one year ticket picked up yesterday too :)

It failed first time round , first car I've had that has ever failed a MOT :(
Failed on a split in the side wall of one tyre and the front brake imbalance out by 30% (25% alowed). They gave me a quote for the work, £295 for the tyre & 1.5 hours of labour to strip and clean the brakes

Err, just give me the keys back and book it in for a re-test... Went to my normal tyre place and got the same tyre (Continental Sport Contact 3) for £125, went home and stripped the brakes down and gave them a good clean. Went back for re-test and imbalance is now 6% out = new ticket :D

Robing bar stewards :ban:

Good work mate, I love quotes for MOT work.

Best I had was my Alfa - they said loads was up, £500 bill. I repaired it for 40p!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for stupid questions, not a mechanical man
Are there any benefits to having a boost gauge?
and
Is a ED30 a limited edition version of the GTI?

Esentialy its just a "rev counter" for the turbo, Steve. Just a visual ade to keep a eye on what the turbo is doing.

The Edition 30 is a special edition of the mk5 GTI celebrating 30 years of the Golf GTI. It has the same k04 turbo as found in the mk2 Leon Cupra/ Audi S3. It comes with 230bhp as standard.

seen the inboard shot Damo, amazing

I need to get me a gecko now!!!

You mean this one :)

I dont have a gecko either, Suj. Just set the tripod up correctly on the back seat with the seat belt round it for safety ;)
