Dashboard Scratches

Hi everyone,

Basically, there are quite a few big scratches and cuts on the dashboard (passengers side) that have been there since day 1, and they're really starting to bug me.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix them? I honestly don't know where to start.

I'll add some pictures tomorrow, if that helps?

I had some too, looked like someone had jammed a sat nav between the windscreen and dash.

I used a heatgun on it and a clean cloth and it make them better.

Be careful not to overheat the plastic or it will bubble up and look even worse.

I'd use a hair dryer if I were you and be very careful!

Ive been really careful with my car and still managed to chip and scratch the dash. Its made out of jelly.

Wipe with a damp cloth, and then allow it to dry. Get back to black and then spray over dash and then uuse a hair dryer over the part you sprayed.

Worked like a treat for me and dashboard looks as fresh as the day it came out the factory

Don't use a heat gun on the dash. It's too severe for it and leaves a horrible shiney patch. Instead, get a hairdrier, heat up the dash and at the same time, take a yellow duster and rub onto the scratches hard. The little tufts of plastic that create the scratch will twist off and you'll get rid of your scratch.
