Delay on all boc and cupra orders

Don't mean to rub anyone up the wrong way but i'm soooo glad my dealership sold me the Cupra they were due to receive as their demo otherwise i'd be in the same boat as you guys rather than arriving everywhere with a massive grin on my face!!

Can tell you one thing though guys as annoyed as you prob all are you will appreciate the wait when you can finally sit in your own Boc or Cupra and appreciate the power and handling that this little monster has. Don't give up on that dream!

This ^ Once you are used to the new driving style you will love it so much!!

I've gone for the Cupra as there was only £20 a month difference in price. (should of waited until i ordered before the name!) They've told me to expect a 4 month wait, so it'll be arriving in July.

Can't wait now!

Just a quick Q for you who already have them - What is the standard alarm like??

I've had a Fiesta ST and that had the alloys stole off it you see, alarm was useless, no tilt sensors so they managed to take the lot, locking wheel nuts do absolutely nothing!

not really tested to see if it has a tilt sensor or anything, but it is pretty loud the alarm. Kind of like an ear piercing noise

afraid so, i found out the hard way! With ford esp. The locking keys are too easily available and there's only like 7 different ones.

If you google locking wheel nut remover you will find loads of tools that get them off.

I spoke to local cop's and they said that so far 160 sets have been stolen in my area but none since last july and thankfully no Seat's

Without tilt sensors on the car they won't set the alarm off. The copper's round me have never caught anyone, no one has ever seen them!

mk2_Cupra, you heard from your dealer yet if your's has been built? as my dealer got in contact with me and said 'I shall advise ASAP the current stage of the vehicle as I am waiting on the factory to confirm whether the vehicle has been built or not.' good times... im not happy! haha i want to know if it has been built!

Same here Dean. Was told yes everything is on track and they are just waiting for a call from some one somewhere. So did not actually say definately, yes the car has been built. Very vague which is making me very nervous. All I need is for another screw up and I swear this time I am on the phone to SEAT UK head office. I will check again Wednesday next week to make sure all is in order.

haha isnt it funny what a bit of pressure will do. I got told on Wednesday that my car was delayed till July after i ordered it in jan. So yesterday i told them you get me a courtesy car till it turns up or i am ordering a Audi A3. Email this morning you car has been moved forward and will be built week commencing 17th April. That will do nicely

ye good point... i havent even been told if it has been built this week =\ gah... my parents dint have this problem when they bought their audi, got told everyday where it was etc. guess thats the difference between the 2!
