I took mine from my Mk1 and got a new bit. No BT but I use the iPod UI and not the play list nonsense.

When you ordered, what head unit did you state? I've got the factory fit HU with MP3 & Bluetooth but I don't know what model number it is. Do you have any idea?

The guy that was going to install mine has now got a compatible Connects2 but I'm not sure which is better. Any idea which is best, Dension or Connects2?

Any help would be great as this has been going on for a month & am desperate to get fitted!

Well if you order the number we said you don't need to quote any model number of radio and which is best? DENSION ALL DAY LONG. well depends what you want? you get what you pay for if you want track names album and artist etc you need dension. Also when using dension you get a digital readout in litres of how much fuel you have in the bottom corner of your display. Pretty cool I thought. Kev

I've already told them I want the Dension now. Was always a bit worried as the Conects2 stuff is half the price & you don't get anything for free these days!

Also, on what screen does it show how much fuel you have left? I haven't heard of that before. Like you say, kinda cool though!

On the MFD screen where track artist etc shown at the bottom left of that screen just above the cars total miles it has a picture of a petrol pump and the number of litres you have left in the tank. Cheers Kev

Well believe it or not my dension has stopped displaying text etc it is not even listed on my menu on the MFD anymore. Tried disconnecting the unit but still no text. Everything else works fine. I have emailed dension and am still waiting on a reply 4 days later anyone else had this? Kev

Nightmare!
The installer that I was going to have fit my Dension have not been able to source a suitable part so I'm on hold at present!
The guys at LM Audio were pretty good but just couldn't get right module from their supplier.
Think I'm now going to have to leave this for while as got my £100 deposit back but looks like will have to put towards new tyres instead. Plus have insurance, tax & first MOT due next month! The cars bleeding me dry!
Anyhow, hope you get it sorted soon.
