hey guys
wondering if you can help, 3 little problems:

my gf's car is powersurging...ie it feels like the car is accelerating and braking violently without any user input. if the accelerator is pushed down further or you let off it stops...its really weird as it only does it when going along at a constant speed for a while, usually over 50
so far, the hole in the exhaust has been changed and the temperature guage/regulator changed and its still doing it! any suggestions as now it feels like the trusted garage is abusing this trust.
im thinking it could be a fueling/mapping problem or a faulty MAF sensor?
any help is greatly appreciated for issue number 1 (the most important!!)

problem number 2:
the clutch sticks just above the biting point and then snaps back up or sometimes it stays there...same garage replaced the master slave cylinder but problem still exists!
is this a faulty spring?
any suggestions?

problem number 3:
after 50/60mph and under heavy braking there is massive juddering throughout the car...like running over cats eyes constantly!
just wondering if this is anything but a wheel balance issue?
other suggestions welcome!

cheers in advance for any help!

Problem 1, could be many things, best thing is to scan it with vag com to be cert,
Could be a ignition coil/dodgy plugs/camshaft sensor and alot more things.
you could un plug the maf and if it runs better, its a faulty maf

problem 2, mine is doin the same, iv had a new clutch, flywheel, slave, and master cylinder changed and the problem is still there, only other thing it could be is the gearbox or the input shaft bearings worn and causing it to stick and not release properly.

Problem 3, could be damaged.warped discs, but any decent garage should be able to take out for a run and diagnois the fault

BTW iv got a 04plate golf mk5 gt tdi and you will get more help over here: http://uk-mkivs.net/
