Diagnostic light

The other day my diagnostic light came on when I was slowing for a traffic light it wasnt on for long (cant remember if it flashed). Today when slowing for a roundabout it came on flashing for about 10seconds before going off again.

Should I get it checked with VAG-COM or is it only a probelm if it keeps coming on?

Yeah get it checked seeing as the light as been on the fault will be logged.
