Has anyone fitted a LSD to a haldex car? With or without updated haldex controller?
My mate with s3 had diff and removed updated haldex controller and is much happier now
Said the car fells more agressive now

Front, but with up rated controller it passes power to rear before loss of traction.
So is it a waste of time?

Ive fitted front and rear diff to a haldex car. Made a massive difference. Helps more on bends rather than straight line. With the s3 it will feel more aggressive due to the power staying at the front wheels for longer.

I dont know if id bother , unless you've got money thats burning a hole in your pocket.

waste of time. The car/sytem was never intended for racing.
A fixed controller might be worth considering if you don't mind the wear and tear.

i've been running a quaife atb front diff for 3 years now due to a liking of hard launches.i was told this was the weak link as the gearboxes are very strong, when my old diff was removed(only 3 years old) some of the teeth had bits missing off them:lol:Sam,i reckon you've won the bloody lottery as you can't stop spending:whistle:
