Mine has no sunroof and no aircon yet only says GTi on the bootlid and on the seats !!??

what does it say on the logbook.
mine says 1997 2.0 16V GTi Cupra Sport and i have no sunroof no aircon. airbags and options like that will differently available on later models.
If anyone has the exact same car on the logbook and can comment otherwise please do

Also just thought, you engine transplants are badges are an easy job.

Log book reads: 'IBIZA GTi 16V CUPRA SPORT'
Year is '97 same as yours by the looks of it, I do have airbags driver and passenger but definately no Air-con or Sunroof.
My interior is half leather but i dont have the nice red seat belts or seats just a kind of black with green/blue squiggles and the Seats read GTi 16v.

Yeh mine has passenger side air bag as well.
The interior could have been transplanted at any stage so I would try to ignore that and as mentioned on Parkers, the interior was an option that could have been selected/changed from New meaning many of these cars will have different trim.
The No Air-con and No Sunroof with weight reduction and less sound deadening are the key differences between the Best and the rest

Mine: No aircon, no sunroof, little sound deadening, Cupra half leather interior, and a log book that says 'Cupra Sport'
