Do the LC's and LCR's have the same suspension or not. I was just randomly searching for things on ebay today, and ended up looking for coilovers. i saa some from the same company/seller, but one for LC and one for LCR. Are they different?

You can fit the LCR suspention kit on the LC, i have, you will then have the option of fitting the R32 front ARB at alater date, again something i have done, the only difference is the drop and the spring rate, you can even fit the oe LCR suspention on the LC.

it's an LCR i have. I just needed to know if any Leon kit would do for when i order some coilovers, or if i HAD to have an LCR kit. Obviously i know now that i do.

Anything listed for the front of the 225TT and MK4 R32 should work on the front. Rear LCR is plain-jane Mk4 Golf platform (not 225TT / R32)

Hi guys sorry to dig up an old thread !!

Been searching to find an answer. I just got OEM LCR shocks and springs all round. Its a LC AUQ l have and its on fecked coilovers.

So does the std LCR setup just bolt on to the LC ??

I was told l ma have to chop the tab for the ARB mounts on the LCR setup ??

Im really hoping its just plug n play !!

Cheers guys

Brendan

don't need to chop it off just leave it not in use

Does that mean l can use the front struts and they will fit straight on without any other modificatios ??

Have you experienced this or is this just your opinion ??

I have already paid someone for these LCR shocks and spring and then after reading on here about how they probibaly wont work i have contacted the person to ask for a refund !!

If they will work then i want them, but i really need to be sure they are just gonna drop in !!

Sorry if l sound cheeky, l have just ha the worst luck with this car !
