digital climate display

Has anyone had probs with their digital climate display . I`ve read about the ones that start bleeding into the display , but mine just seems to have bits of display missing . E.G. , L0 reads F0 , bits of numbers missing etc . It all works ok it just looks awful , it just started playing up last weekend . Any ideas ?? . Typical , it`s having a service on tuesday
I might try disconnecting the battery later to see if that makes any difference

Sounds like the control unit that governs the LCD has gone up the swany. I'm guessing that the dealer will say New unit, and god only knows how much that costs...

I`ll try ringing a few breakers , theres nothing on e-bay at the mo . It`s all working no probs , just gets on my nerves as I cant stop looking at it.

Yeah - know the feeling, and not something you want to be doing for too long, as it can have dramatic affects to driving

Drivng around yesterday , the display was normal in manual mode BUT if i put the air con on bits of the display was missing . I`ll just see what happens next........

Try pushing at various points on the plastic surrounding the display and see if it gets any better, mine has started doing this recently too...

Display fine in manual , bits still missing when the aircon is on . Since everything is working fine I`ll make do for now . It is a bit irritating but u get used to yhings like this with SEAT
I`d still buy another one though
