Hi guys, recently went on a remapping course (so I'm not just changing figures for the sake of it) and currently using winols. I purchased an ecu from a mk4 golf pd100 as a practice ecu and do not intend to fit this to any car. I've increased fueling to a max 70mg per stroke, now looking at upping the pressure on the turbo map, the turbo on the 100s are safe to tune to about 1.4bar, but reading this map it's running at 1.5bar as standard? Or has winols adjusted the turbo map to compensate?

WinOLS wont adjust the turbo pressure to compensate automatically. Are you sure you're looking at a standard file?

A PD100 (ATD engine, example im looking at is an 038 906 019 DE from an A3) runs 1bar of boost standard, not 1.5. Have you got your factors and offsets correct?

I've only ever done one map for a PD100 and was asked for a mild one, running 2200mbar absolute and up to 33 degrees of injection.

I have many many original EDC15 files if you need any

From what I know it's standard, I got it from eBay so who knows! Lol I'll have a look when I'm home

Now you say it the software downloaded from the ecu was different, the ecu id is xxxxxxxFF but the software was xxxxxxxHH, so maybe it isn't standard...

HH is ARL PD150 software which does run 1.5 bar standard, Remapped usually around 1.6 -1 7 bar

So someone's changed the software on the ecu lol

Ah **** lol ok never mind so I've just done all that when it's already been done, but I guess I can still use it to get familiar with using winols, thanks for the help :)

Another question, why can't I view already tuned files? I read the map off my ecu to see what's going on and all the figures in the map are standard?....does the tuned file need to be saved as a .bin file to be able to view it? Because at the moment it's something different like .jvc or whatever, can't remember off the top of my head...saying that though I was able to see the tuned file on the pd100 ecu? I'm so confused lol
