Do I need to dry?

With the weather being how it is at the moment, could I get away with washing the car but not drying it?

It depends if you can deal with some streaky marks down your windows and paint work or not. Personally I think yellow shows them up too well.

For the time it takes, I'd dry it.

Use an open ended hose to rinse & you'll be left with a lot less standing water to mop up than if you'd used a shower head type, water just sheets off this way

What kind of cloths are you`s guys using ?
Microfibre etc. or your standard sheet/towel

I use chemical Guys "Miracle Dryer ", best I've found to date, sucks up much more than a meguiars or sonus towel

as above you are gonna be left with water marks.you can try a leaf blower or chemical guys air blower
(great toy it is lol)

I use cotton terry clothes to dry mine followed by a microfibre cloth. Works very well.

If the jobs worth doing, then it's worth doing well ..... if you've got a good layer of polish then the drying is very quick and easy and makes doing the job worthwhile. and yes it will avoid horrible streaks, especially on the glass.
