this is my old car, registration BG60RYT.

It is on engine number 3, and still had the dreaded missfire.
with a lot of fighting, legal battles the garage finally admited the car was not fit for purpose, and put me into a new 12plate cupra F.O.C. including all of the added options that i was missing before, racing brakes, heated seats, etc, etc..

Was sent back to Milton Keynes to have seat uk techs work and try and diagnose the problem, the only thing that is original engine wise, is the ECU. everything elce has been changed at lease 2 times, lost count of how many plugs, coils and injectors it had had.
There was also a massive dent in the door which the garage caused, doubt that will be mentioned if anybody goes to see this heap.

this car is completely different, instead of using a liter of oil every 450 - 600 miles, i have used .5 litre in 3300 miles.

I was in the dealership last night and spotted it tucked away in the corner, approved used my ar$e!!
i feel for who ever buys that car next. and they are asking 13k for it. the cheek.

but yes fingers crossed that the new toy behaved herself.

If the problem has been sorted then whats wrong with that? I understand its been and had engine changes but if its sorted now and has a new engine then it should be allgood!

Its good for any future owners to know about these problems, but I wouldn't condemn the car completely. They should have attempted to fix before resale and it will have warranty until at least Sep 2013/ 60k miles.

not white anymore, speed blue nutkin.

Yes i agree that the problem should have been solved, but as its on engine number 3. the same engine that was in the vehicle when passed the keys back to the dealer principle, how can the call it a quality used car?
I just think its a little naught of them not to include whats gone on in a cars past! would you buy it if you knew the problems the vehicle has had?
