Yeah mats just say Leon. I had no info handed over from the dealer about AA either. However as phil said above if you ring the Seat assistance number it's actually the AA and they should have your details from the reg but deatails have to passed on by the dealer so you may have to wait a few weeks before they recognise you but any longer than that I'd start to wonder. Least you got it mate ;)

I bought a new Leon from the TDN about six months ago and though they (he) was fine. Good price and good service.

It's part of their commercial sales dept and I think the margins are very low, hence the low price. Obviously they are getting too many orders for one person to deal with; either that or I was just lucky!

The Deal Negotiator

Hello, I sell the SEATs for The Deal Negotator. I thought i might just point out that the majority of the information that has been posted about the deal negotiator is positive. Also, a large amount of the information in the recent negative comment is incorrect, have a look at www.thedealnegotiator.co.uk to find out the facts. We always make every effort to ensure that customers are happy and as many customers will confirm, we take customers satisfaction very seriously. We also pride ourselves on offering the most competitive deals available anywhere.

If anyone has any sensible questions regarding the deal negotiator I would be more than happy to answer them.

Kind regards,

Matthew

someone should foward him a link so he can give his response ;)

This thread is rated #3 in google anyway, so he's already found it ^^^

needless to say, keep it clean - I don't want to get involved.

Read the posts, make your mind up - never trust 'testimonials' on an editted website

How does this work?

Q) Why are you better than a car broker?

A) We take no part in the deal. We don’t take your deposit. We won’t take any payment from you. We just put you in contact with a main dealer who will offer you a significant discount. You deal direct with the dealer, which gives you the security and service you’d expect from a franchised dealer.

Yet you claim you work for 'the deal negotiator' but your registered email address is an @sidlows address - doesn't that confirm that the firm is one & the same? Or am I missing a trick

Just shows you how important this forum is to SEAT, all the dealers out there as well as us the punter. Treat your customers well and this site will work wonders for you. Treat them bad and everything will come crashing down.

Great work Mork in keeping the forum such a great resource to everybody.

The Deal Negotiator is a part of the Sidlow Group based in the South East which comprises of 2 VW, 1 SEAT, 1 Alfa Romeo dealerships plus some more service centres. The Deal Negotiator is set up to offer vehicles at the lowest price anyone car buy a vehicle anywhere and i believe we achieve this. As i'm sure you are aware the way manufacturers support vehicles means that even 2 identical vehicles sold on the same day could have different margins and since we work on a cost plus approach this means that prices can at times vary, but this should only be by a relatively small amount.

The Deal Negotiator will find the supplier who can offer the best price on vehicle and put the customer in touch with that dealer, sometimes this will be a dealer in the Sidlow Group, sometimes a dealer not in the Sidlow Group (it does not always work out best for Sidlow to supply the vehicle). It is true that the majority of the time a Sidlow dealer will offer the best price and we prefer to work this way as since is work for the Sidlow Group I can look after the customer from start to finish and don’t rely upon another dealer, which most of the time means that we can provide the best price combined with an excellent service, which please understand really is something that we pride ourselves on. I fully understand the significance of websites like these and also fully appreciate that only by providing an excellent service can we hope to maintain a sustainable business, which is of course our aim. We have sold thousands of vehicles to happy customers, but of course this does not mean it is okay to have any unhappy customers.
