Do you have faith in R/Road figures?

Virdi - As promised, I have my wheel power figure, which is 174.7 hp.

So 174.7 @ the wheels and 209.5 @ the fly.

How does that sound, compared to the power a standard LCR 210 should produce?

We should just all the believe in the 'Wheels' figure - As this is not calculated and this is what is actually getting put down onto the road....

174 @the wheels is good for a standard car.!

Mine went on the Rollers at JBS when it was completely standard and hit 224.9 BHP

My car is a Cupra R 225 so I was pretty pleased. I have not had another run since the modifications so will see one day.

the biggest problem is people using different rollers looking for the highest result whether its accurate or not. I like using rollers to see performance gains after modifications or comparing two cars on the same day (just for fun), but not for finding out what power my car is running so i can go down the pub and shout about it, (even though i probably would)

in the past iv seen how people seem to change their persona at rolling road events, opinions change and soon relativity goes out the window. Most people are naive and if its good they'll shout about it and if its bad...well you wait for the excuses don't you. Not that there aren't any viable reasons for low figures, if they are logical then I can accept them e.g. heat soak

but usually poor figures are followed up by a barrel full of silly excuses

so in essence...no i dont have much faith in RR figures, but they can be useful at times
