Tom mine sounds yours, its having the same problems, since being revo'd the car wont make the full 22psi at the first spike when nailing it and it only gets as high as 15psi max, i had two faults logged the other day which Grant quickly read for me as Fuel pressure too low and fuel too lean, im thinking its a MAF problem combined with something else, the car is still quick but not as quick as it could be :(

I no longer enjoy mine...

...although it is sat with the engine out!

Parada's were great tyres on the Ibiza, and that was running over 300ftlb and driving very aggressively. Not good in the wet, but hey they're not really meant for wet weather stuff.

Putting in my spare engine, tidying everything up. Replacing all hoses, pads etc. then selling her. I'll probably get another 'track' car over the summer at some point, until then I'll have to use the Evo on track as well. Quite fancy a westie race car at the mo. We'll see whether I decide to buy a house or not first. Little bro's buying my Cordy off me so that's one of them shut of!

No aint fitted them yet, could do with fitting them though! Was gonna either get my mate to do it, or do it myself.

I'll give Vag-Com a go tonight,or in the next few nights.

I do enjoy mine and its the only car ive had that still suprises me after a year. 2nd gear in freezing temperatures when the boost surges in is always good. However, mine only has a remap and i still break traction in 2nd and even in 3rd in the wet, in a straight line, so I just find it pointless modding it anymore. Savage in a straight line, yes, but I want to be able to put my power down. I will be sad to see mine go in a couple of weeks, as it has been very reliable and as has been said, for the money it's an absolute rocket. I do think I'm a N/A engine fan though to be honest. Nothing beats the instant pickup and response.
At the end of the day, the lure of rear wheel drive and non 4 cylinder engines has drawn me away, but I still think the cupra is as cracking a car, as the first day I got it.
