Does anyone know what is easiest way to remove the sound deadening?

as above really ive done research for removing deadning but would like to see other peoples veiws for doing this. reason for doing this as im fitting rollcage to my ibiza this week .

things people use for doing this is

dry ice and hammer but dont want little dings everywhere.

also cans of de-icer as it freezes matting.

any comments welcome.

Either freezing or heat

freezing is a better option as heat will only make it tacky ect ect

i used a heat gun and a scraper, think it was a wall paper scraper not sure , works a treat though !!!!

ive just bought some de icer for freezing sound mat and also bought a pack of 6 chisels to make life alot easyier

de icer will not freeze it, its made to do opposite

ive already done half the car with it, (dry ice) in a can works a treat look on youtube theres guides on how to do it .
