Does Diff Work with ESP

does my diff work when esp is on or does it work weather its on or off

The mechanical differential in the middle of the car works all the time - there is no method of controlling it by the ECU or any other car system.

ESP, TCS, EDL and the rest of the alphabet soup are effects produced by the ABS system braking one or more wheels, along with the ECU controlling power delivery.

I think he means EDL (electronic differential lock) , AFAIK it only works up to about 20MPH anyway

i mean esp i wondered weather the esp would kick in and slow the car down before the diff even had time to kick in

oh you mean you have a quaife/peloquinn fitted?

I have a peloquinn on mine and traction control will still kick in so I tend to leave it off, unfortunately even with TCS turned off it still interferes if I'm pushing it hard on bends/roundabouts.
