Does my ibiza tdi 130 have a dump valve?

just wondered if any1 knows if the standard mk4 ibiza tdi130 has a dump valve and is it worth getting 1 if i get it remapped? any recomendations on which 1 to get? cheers

no you havent and no def don't get one!

spend your moneysnd get the cupra air intake and green panal filter approx £50 to get a couple more bhp and bit more torque.

no it doesnt have one. Forge can fit one or you can buy the kit and do it yourself if you wanted to. I am considering it also. heres the link.

they is absolutly no point, it will add no performance whats soever and be as bad as fitting a whoosing speaker in a n/a car...ok not that bad!

i wasnt expecting it to improve power or anything but i thought it would need 1 to stop the turbo stalling between gear changes cos it'll hav more boost with the remap. does any1 know if the cupra tdi has one?

nope the tdi has no throttle body so when you lift off there is no blockage as such, no throttle body sealing the pipes and stalling the turbo and the tdi turbo works different to the 20vt.

So, no diesel, FR or Cupra will have a D/V and you dont need one... unless you want one for the silly sound, and that alone. In which case...
