Has anyone come across this one?
When pulling off reasonably quickly I accelerate normally, lift off the accelerator to change gear and the revs don’t drop immediately.
If I press the clutch down, it revs up to the rev limiter until I either put it in the next gear, or it wakes up and realises that the accelerator is not being pressed.
If I don’t press the clutch it keeps pulling very hard for up to a second or so.
Obviously, this is a good way of maintaining boost, but it can be scary when the car decides to take off on its own.
What could the problem be?
