dog bone mount and induction enquierys?

i keep hearing about these dog bone engine mounts, are they really that good and can i get one for my diesal, were can i get one and were can i take it to be fitted? also what difference does a induction kit make on a diesal. idont know to much about engines.lol. just the basics. im a joiner so engines r not my thing, so any help is appriecated. give me a bit of wood and ill work wonders with it.lol

the dog bone mount is the lower engine/gearbox mount thats restrains engine "rock". Replacing the standard rubber bushes in this mount with polybushes (stiffer), engine rock is restricted and so wheel hop reduced - increases traction of the line. You should be able to get them for the diesel, try asking in some of the forum sponser sections (awesomegti or forge should be able to sort you out). With regards to fitting, it is easy enough for a joiner to do
induction kit most likely won't make much different powerwise, but should increase pickup and throttle response - the carbonio system, although expensive and a bit of an ar5e to fit, sounds excellent!

I bought two dog bone mounts by mistake so have one to sell, £20 inc postage if you're interested. Its a Powerflex jobbie & yes they do make a difference, vibrations are a bit annoying at 1st, but they soon die down. HTH

wn you say the carbonio system sounds excellent, in wat way does it sound different? at the min mine does whistle loudly, and it does sound nice, will it make it louder? what about dump valves? is it worth putting one on? sorry about all the ? mate, but idont know much about engines.lol. jus wana make sure im buying the right things. i was selling it but might rethink that and keep it cus it is a gd car and has nvr let me down.
