Door card trouble ? thanks

Heloo .. my mate donated some fusion component speakers to me today and since they were free i thort id take advantage and theyr probaly betta than my standard ones. Rite ive got all the poppers off from the door car disconected the whole thing except where the lock pin is ... theres a little grey plate around it to cover the hole on top of the door card and i cant seem to lift it over it ... any help please ...?

well i cant get the little cover bit over the pin? or under the door car and obvs the pin is attached to a metal rod (wire)

unscrew the pin 1st!

yeah the black plastic lock pins just unscrew fairly easily. You might need speaker adapters to fit the speakers though

think i saw some for sale on here, they're only around 15-20 quid anyway if you think its worth it

its deffo worth changing the front speakers, anything is better than the standard crappy ones in there....i didn't enjoy doing it though, I hate doing anything to do with wiring!!

how big are our front door speakers?? as im looking in to upgrading the fronts as they sound cack.

you can't change them without adaptors i don't think as the standard ones are an all-in-one jobby.

165mm is what you need.
