Door rattles from boc

Anyone had annoying rattle/vibration from drivers door? hit any slight bump in the road and it will rattle away pretty much constantly. really annoying when you know its there and that all i can hear now lol.

sure i saw someone with a door rattle before.

My 5 door sport does this, a quick squirt of grease into the door latch stops it for a while but it does return. I had thought about trying to adjust the striker plate slightly but will probably let the dealer look at that.

that is what i was thinking just now biker, becuase the rattle sounds like its sort of out side the door, or from the inner pillar. just been out to it and banged around at all plastics and nothing, deff internally and i will try the grease method. i think what your saying about the striker could be correct.

when im in work tommorow i will check on elsa to see if theres any info on door rattles.

mine rattles on the passenger side but i think its the passenger seat because it stops if some one sits there.

Use silicon spray on the latch and it should go away.

yep because i had the window closed for the first time today, i heard a rattle ,its was in the back, the panel where the speaker is. just gave it a couple of firm pusses , job done no more bloody noise's. **** i hate the noise's urrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I have the same issue with the drives door in my Boca... Driving me nuts.

As grdude said used silcone spray today and all fixed sprayed all inside the door lock. Sorted thanks mate.

No i didnt mate was very busy in work and just as i was putting car on ramp the gf turns up for a quick oil filter change then front wheels balanced so i gave up and went home. Will try again this week.

Hey mate,

I am experiencing exactly the same problems, seems to be anytime i go over pot hole, speed bump etc.

Really annoying if u ask me

just spray the door lock in the door itself. clear grease maybe a better option imo, but silicone spray works fine.

i took mine in to be told it was on a recall for passenger seat catch that tips the seat forwards sounds a bit better now

So we can spray the grease into the drivers door lock , but how do we get to the lock on the passenger door.???

I has me some rattles as well. Will give this a go. Do I simply spray grease into the lock mechanism when the foor is open?

Yea, cured for me ever since. Not one rattle from car atm. Just spray a good load in up down left right.
