door speaker cabling help!

someones gotta know the answer to this i bet tons of ppl have done it before.

how the hell do i get speaker cabling through the front door seals on my MK2 ibiza? this has been pissing me off for a long time!!

any advice would be greatly appreciated!

when i did mine i just used the standard seat speaker cable and cut the ends to bare wires ...

is it anything like a mk4, where both bundles of wires (door side and inside) end in connectors, which meet in a sort of square gromet?

if it is, it was a right pain in the arse, remove both sets of connectors from the square gromet, remove all the inside scaffolding from the gromet, then you can pass wires thro no problem...
